This includes the Malaysia Australia Business Council (MABC) networking event, where interns connect with Malaysian and Australian business professionals, and dinner discussion with industry expert and Australian government officials, on topics in communications, crisis management, trade and investment, and inter-government relation. Recently, interns had the privilege of meeting Ms. Danielle Heinecke, Australian High Commissioner to Malaysia, at her official residence for afternoon tea and career discussions.
We will always equip you with essential skills, connections for success, and exposure to business opportunities. By mastering networking techniques including using LinkedIn as your CV, and engaging with relevant industry professionals, you will gain valuable insights into your discipline which can help you build meaningful relationships, preparing you to pursue your career aspirations with confidence and competence.

During this time, they were invited to the Australian High Commission for the Malaysian Australian Business Council (MABC) networking session, where we had the opportunity to interview some of them.
They shared how their first week had been exciting, from meeting new friends and exploring the bustling streets of Malaysia to trying out local cuisines. They also connected with professionals at their workplace and during the MABC networking event.
| | | | | | Our interns highlighted the invaluable 24/7 rapid support system provided by The Global Student, which has been essential both before and after their arrival in Malaysia, as well as during their stay.
Additionally, they expressed their reasons for choosing Malaysia as their internship destination and how the internship has helped them upscale their knowledge through various projects.
| | | | Monash University Malaysia | | | | | | | | TGS recently had the opportunity to provide our services for Monash University Australia’s winter semester programs at Monash Malaysia. We assisted with orientation and developed the academic enrichment program, adapting our famous "Race around KL" to the "Race around Sunway" as a fun ice-breaking session. This allowed students to experience the convenience of Sunway’s “15-minute city.” Additionally, we arranged site visits and invited guest speakers, providing Aussie students with a deeper understanding of Malaysian culture and their academic disciplines during the three-week program.
Monash Malaysia also offers a Semester Abroad program open to students globally, where Australian students can study at a Group of 8 university in a tropical country. | | | | | | | | | | | This exciting opportunity allows you to immerse yourself in Sunway City, a bustling hub with iconic landmarks like Sunway Pyramid Mall, cultural treasures, and convenient public transport options. This 20-acre resort boasts 300 luxurious keys, an expansive grand lobby, and six dining outlets, including a bar and lobby lounge.
